This combo from Skyjacker allows you to carry a full sized spare tyre on your factory tire mount, without worrying about damaging your tailgate or hinges. Skyjacker designed this kit to be able to hold any spare tyre from 33-37" with a wheel backspace of 4-5,5". It is constructed from rugged steel plate, and finished in an attractive gloss black powder coat. The tailgate saver helps eliminate that stress and vibration by providing added support under the spare tyre when tailgate is closed. Tailgate saver easily installs using existing holes and is completely adjustable.
