Their purpose is to make it easier to attach both the slider/step mount, which is often in the same place as the long arm mount. Superior has come up with a simple solution, all you need to do is weld the side step bracket to the long arm mount. This allows you to have a simple and robust mount for both of these 4x4 upgrades.

They will be supplied to you in a pair with all the necessary mounting hardware included with the installation. Please note installation requires some cutting and welding.
